Thank you everyone for your wishes. I am recovering well after my surgery. The previous months of medical investigation reiterated what I already knew...the importance of pragmatic skills in professionals, especially when there is a big unknown! It was a reminder to me about the need to monitor my language-verbal and non verbal, when discussing children's needs with their parents.
A big Thank You to friends, aquaintances, friends of friends, friends of friends of friends who shared their experiences this past month, and also to those who read but didn't want to share your life experiences. The guest posts helped me tremendously while I was running around for my personal needs. Since then some more young people have contacted with a view to sharing their stories. I will run another series of guest posts after a few months (trying to gather and organize them first).
I am ready to get back to writing...too much time at the hospital without the net:) Unfortuantely my recovery extends into the period for the summer camp...I have already informed most parents about the change in schedule. For those who come across the post more recently...keep checking. I will update the scheduling information.
